It is a place to stay if you need a place near the airport. It was the cheapest when I was looking. The only restaurant somewhat walkable is the IHOP on site, but a bus stops right in front that goes to locations with other eateries. They have a shuttle that gets you to the airport in less than 10 mins, but hours are limited and it only comes every 45 mins. It has a pool that looked clean, but I didn't see anyone use it and it did not look fun. It looked like some of the rooms were occupied by people there long-term, but everyone was quiet and respectful of others.

shuttle area was easy to find. waiting for the Travelodge shuttle felt like it took VERY long. Front desk staff were pleasant although the rooms are NOT what they look like in the pictures displayed on site. our room we booked smelled of cigarettes and mold, the locks on door did not bolt or lock properly the room felt uncleanly. definitely recommend booking with Holiday Inn if staying in San Francisco!!
