"I can’t express how grateful I am for Anchors Hotel. After our Vrbo host unexpectedly canceled our reservation less than 24 hours before our flight with no explanation we were left scrambling to find a place to stay. Thankfully, we found Anchors Hotel, and it truly felt like a blessing in disguise. To make matters even more stressful, our flight was delayed as well. As soon as we landed, I called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving late. We didn’t get there until around 12:30 AM, but the staff couldn’t have been more understanding. They kindly reassured us that they would be waiting for us and told us to take our time. After everything we had been through, those words felt like a huge relief and immediately put our minds at ease. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful, the pool area has an amazing atmosphere, and the entire property has a relaxing, inviting vibe. Our room was spotless, comfortable, nice and cool, and the hot shower was exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. What began as a stressful experience turned into one of the best parts of our trip. Anchors Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and hospitality we received and would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"During my trip to Puerto Rico, I stayed at three different hotels, and this one was by far the nicest. The view from my room was incredible, and the pool was definitely the highlight of the property. The food was also delicious and exceeded my expectations. The only downside was that getting to the beach was a bit inconvenient, as it required taking a ferry. Overall, though, it was a great experience and I would recommend it."

"We booked the room last minute because we were getting in super late. The room was clean and nice. Nothing special just a king size bed, coffee machine, small fridge and microwave. The room did have a little smell as if it was an old room but not too bad. We only needed it for one and it defiantly helped. Perfect for late night arrival and easy to get too. Right outside baggage claim."

"Overall we really liked the property. But there are certainly things they can do to improve the overall experience. The pull out bed was essentially useless because the mattress was completely shot. The springs were protruding through the mattress and it was extremely uncomfortable. One of the least expensive upgrades they could make would be to make sure that the tv's are smart tv's so you can stream shows. When you have kids and there are 11 channels, even if it is a resort and you aren't in your room a ton, you want to be able to have family time and watch a movie at night. The tile around the pool was extremely worn and had fallen off in a pretty significant number of areas. And lastly, from an amenity standpoint, they really need to communicate that there is not a fitness area / gym onsite, and that you have to walk a ways into the community to utilize the gym (and the hours are very limited). Overall, nice place but not necessarily a place I would probably use for our family again. Great overall price and the pool area / pool side bar & food was absolutely the highlight. ** They can't control the seaweed but the beach was completely unusable due to the extreme amount of piles of seaweed everywhere. Not sure how often they clean the beach but that was disappointing for a beach resort."
