The room was ok, the hotel is a bit dated and basic but it’s a reasonable price so my expectations were not high and therefore it was fine for a night.

Hotel is a very beautiful especially the location right on the sea front. Reception staff are very welcoming and professional, the restaurant food especially the fish and chips top tier. Great hotel lovely breakfast and plenty to do nearby ,just make sure if you stay on a weekend that there isnt any events on in the rooftop bar above as ot was so loud until the early hours .

You need a car. The private beach is just perfect. But for day trips it’s worth travelling further afield to Rye, Port Lympne reserve and Camber Sands for the sandy beach. Ashford outlet is also a good stop off for browsing and lunch en route.
