I enjoyed everything about the hotel - from the grandeur, elegance, food and location. Excellent value for money. Slightly surprised that you need to pay to use the gym but that’s a relatively minor problem.

Perfect hotel! It’s is perfectly placed next to everything you need and walking distance to the station. The hotel itself is very clean, spacious with great views, very classy and very nice staff. The room was perfectly clean, spacious and the bed was super comfy. Amenities were available at the front desk and very helpful. The hotel was in a convenient location right next to a station with a fun arcade across the road. I would definitely visit again should I return to Kobe!

Check in and out was easy and we were able to store our bags after check out. The rooms are quite dated but had enough room for 2 people with luggage. The bathroom had an awful odour every now and then. The location was good and a 15 minute walk to the train stations, food places nearby and walkable to the port.

The breakfast had a large selection and the kitchen staff were continuously making fresh food. I loved the pizza bell! The room was very clean and the amenities provided were a happy surprise.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Hankyu RESPIRE, the first being only for a few nights on a multi-city "Golden Route" trip to Japan last year and the experience I had, combined with it's fantastic location meant it was the obvious choice for my week-long stay in Osaka this year. The rooms are well equipped and roomy, especially for Japan, toiletries, room slippers and pyjamas are provided, meaning you can leave those things at home and have more space in your luggage for your Japan...

If you are going to universal studios Japan it's ideal was reasonably priced room was massive and beds really comfy

We stayed here in November 2023 in an executive King Room with lounge access. This hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious, the bed absolutely massive and a lovely view out to the city below. The lounge access with the executive rooms was well worth the extra cost. Breakfast is held in the lounge (if you have access), which is on the highest floor, with large windows and a great view out. There was a great selection at breakfast, with lots of local japanese items, which we were hoping for!...

Great hotel, great location. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast, the only fault was the breakfast as a westerner burgers fried chicken and pork skewers and chips are not for us , no toast or scrambled egg in sight shame as this let us down.
