"the room was just like a apartment, divided bedroom and bathroom area. I liked that but bathtub was too old so I couldn't use it. location was nearby te train station but not major city side, so not convenient than I thought. "

I was hoping the bar would be a gathering spot for all the guests, but I never saw it open (appears to be by reservation?) That we were encouraged to return by 9 PM was also a bit onerous (given it is 30 minutes from the city centre), but an understandable part of the guesthouse experience."

"Let me start by saying the service staff of the hotel did a good job. They let me check in early without charging a fee as a courtesy, and provided a choice of breakfast which was room delivered every morning as part of my stay and no extra charge, for which I am very grateful. That said, the hotel is a strange combination of luxury and dilapidation. The floors of my room were noticeable dirty, with particulate matter and hair evidently present. "Beautiful hotel, elegant and well thought through from the free shuttle to downtown and from the train station to the convenience store on the main floor. We stayed in a triple room and had lots of space. One of the elevators was glass giving you an incredible view of the harbour. Pillows were a bit odd but you can ask for a softer set. Kettle and AC in every room. We loved it! Stay here for sure."
