"The room, corridors, reception, restaurant, executive lounge all clean. A better quality wine would be preferable in Executive Lounge. Pillows a bit too soft. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Dinner selection offered good mix. Breakfast items, by time on plate to table, items lukewarm. There was a fire drill finishing and lifts were going to be delayed in restarting so used stairs. Stairs were accessed by door that was meant to be locked but had been left open. The stairwell carpet was extremely smelly. Not in a pleasant way."

"Perfect for what we needed"

"We went for dinner at the restaurant and the attendant asked at the door about food allergies. I said, yes, no garlic please, they brought a book with every meal they offered and all the ingredients listed. I picked the grilled chicken with goat cheese as garlic was not listed. 15 minutes later the server stated that the chef said there is garlic. I stated that there is clearly a discrepancy between their own departments that can cause a medical issue for a customer. The restaurant manager came over and instead of apologizing, he said that my only choice was to pick something else, no recommendations of what that meal was as they add garlic to almost everything. Finally I order the salmon and a Caesar salad. We waited 45 minutes to get a meal. No apologies, no we are going to correct our own documents, we fell that we were causing the problem. We stay there because is the most convenient hotel for our frequent trips to Heathrow Terminal 5. The hotel is beautiful, super clean and worth the price since you don't need to take any transportation, you just walk in from the terminal. We will stay there again but might not eat at the restaurant."
