Lovely hotel. Excellent location. Staff at bar very attentive and helpful. Room was compact but very efficient and well appointed. We had a small balcony to enjoy views of the River. Close to the old town and shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

Reasonable price as Zurich is expensive. Decent breakfast for 15 francs. Bed was comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Only a few minutes walk from the station and lots of places to eat close by.

The friendliest staff you can meet. Check in was at 2 pm. They let us check in and stay in our rooms from 0930 am !! incredible! Hotel was in the old town right in the middle of where the restaurants, cafes and shops are. Great central location. Comfy beds , clean rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff. When we go back to Zurich, we want Hotel Alexander.

Our short weekend stay in Zurich was wet so the lounge facility with free tea and coffee was welcome. Perfectly located in quaint street behind the GrossMunster, close to bars restaurants and shops. Hotel was clean with large rooms and good heating. We liked the separated toilet and bathroom. Huge bed, small wardrobe/hanging space. Lovely staff from reception to housekeeping.

The hotel was perfect for our stay, about 11£ in a taxi to the centre of Zurich or an hour's walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant downstairs provided good food and service.

I spent three nights at this easyHotel in order to attend a conference at the University. As it is a fully automated hotel with no reception or cafe, I did not expect amenities other than a shower and TV. However, the room the system gave me, 505 on the 5th floor, was not suitable for me, no lift to the 5th floor and no handrail on the stairs. And the TV did not work. So I sent an email to the address given on the website, and there was an immediate response from Olga (Ukrainian), who helped me...

Stayed here a few times now, everything is good Quirky deco, easy too get to from the train station tram stops outside.
Breakfast is good and especially on the weekend as no rush to get up as served till 2pm..
Bed comfortable enough

Great hotel for the event - literally opposite, a 3-minute walk! Plenty of convenience stores and close to the train station. Really enjoyed my stay. Loved the unexpected upgrade to a room with kitchenette facilities, which was a lifesaver with eating out being pricey.
