Cute hotel in downtown. The location to nearby things is nice, without having to stay in a Casino, if you don't like that (which is our main driver)
The place itself is relatively nice. It does not have an elevator, which isn't a requirement for us. The room we had was fairly spacious. The heat in the room was a little odd though, as it was one of the single-wall units that didn't seem to match what the thermostat was set to (we had to crank it up a bit).
This hotel doesn't have a traditional reception desk like most larger hotels, so it felt like more of an Airbnb experience.
The coffee shop/bar down below was a nice addition, though they close pretty early for a bar.
The noise outside didn't bother us, but we are relatively used to living on a busier street. Most of the noise outside wasn't during sleeping hours anyway.
This hotel is situated near a few charities/food pantries, as well as public transportation, so expect a good deal of people walking near the hotel, many of whom are homeless. While virtually none of them should give you anything to worry about, we did have a couple of odd encounters and heard a few arguments outside of our room. None were problematic, but it did add a bit of stress.
