I like that you didn’t really need to go anywhere else. You can find everything you needed in one area from something to eat something at the gift store and of course the casino itself.

Your associates were very helpful. The rooms were clean. We were traveling to El Dorado CA. from Salt Lake, it was a big drive and the Best Western was a convenient place to stay for the night.

The rooms were clean and property had fun stuff for kids and convenient for food. However, it was smoky in the main lobby gaming areas and the room was noisy from outdoor traffic. We had a great stay but was disappointed we couldn't use the pool more as it was just too cold to swim.

We had such a great time. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. Every interaction was positive. The room was nice and made for an enjoyable stay. I loved seeing all the dogs too. We will definitely remember this as a place we can bring our dog next time

The staff were friendly. The rooms are nice , clean and modern. Unfortunately there was too much road noise in the room we stayed in. It was close to the highway. There was also constant banging noise all night long. Not sure if it was from one of the other rooms or coming from somewhere else. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and never had these problems but I always stayed in a different part of the hotel. They have several restaurants and entertainment. Safe location!

The room was very clean but the lighting was very low. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The casino was very clean, great band playing, slots were a little tight but in general it was a very nice stay. Mel's was amazing and we had excellent servers both times we went in.

Wife and I stayed a night at Boomtown for our anniversary. We stayed in the king bed suite with a balcony. The room was large and spacious complete with a living room, and dining area, The bathroom and bedroom were also very spacious. Overall we enjoyed our room; the bed was comfortable, room was quite, and the coupons for the casino they give you for booking the room was a nice added bonus, For cons, the balcony was very small; my wife and I felt a little cramped with just the two of us being on it. The overall condition of the room is nice but the furniture such as the couch and lounge chairs are old, worn, and a little discolored. The fire place under the TV looks nice but didn't work very well meaning the flames were small and didn't produce much ambience. The jet tub needs some detail cleaning; in the jets you can see grime that is starting to build up inside them. Again none of these cons were deal breakers and overall the room was comfortable and was clean. Mel's is a great diner that has breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They're open 24 hours and the staff in there are great! The Steak house inside the casino was closed on Monday so we had to go outside of the casino to the Verdi Grill House which provided good dinner options. The staff at Boomtown were all great and friendly.

Hotel was ok I probably won’t stay here again being that it’s so far from all stores and restaurants. I stayed here only for a few days for basketball tournaments. Room was clean and staff was friendly. If you need your room serviced you have to wait until after 9am.

Prefer to not be on the I-80 fwy side! Didn’t get good sleep at all. Vending machine was somewhat empty in the 3rd floor by elevator. The Deli was great for food. Service was very good! Hopefully this will still be my go to spot on my travels.

No hot tub. Remote on tv didn’t work. 1 person working at Peet’s coffee shop…waited 25 minutes. Unfriendly staff in the game room. Price wasn’t bad and the room was quiet so that was good. Overall it was ok. The Best Western plus in Truckee on Brockway was excellent and the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We stayed there on the way to Idaho and the Boomtown Best Western on the way back. No comparison. I’ll be staying in Truckee for now on.
