Punta Cancun Trip

Staff was amazing Julio is a bell boy and absolutely amazing and sweet! the hotel was good, the staff were great but the food was awful, i basically snacked for 5 days. If good food is needed don’t stay here if you plan on just eating outside the hotel it’s a perfect stay!

Staff was all very nice and friendly.

Great property to stay at and relax. Everyone was accommodating and facilities were clean. I would have given a 5 star if the beach was cleaner. The two resorts next to us cleaned their area of sea weed and ours was not. Didn’t enjoy the beach, but the pools were great!

The food was edible. That’s the nice way of saying yuck.

I will preface this by stating this is a timeshare resort. All owners get priority over resort guests for everything. If you are okay with being told constantly that members get first preference on everything, then you will be fine. Due to this, my family will not stay here again. Pros: The rooms have full kitchens and we stayed in the 1 bedroom suite. We chose to stay here for this top reason (so we did not have to share a room with our kids). In hind site, I am seeing now that it would have been better to get other benefits. However, the room was very clean and the maid staff was great. Room service was also good. The food was so/so at best The spa- although small, it was perfect, very clean and welcoming, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, relaxation rooms, and plenty of towels/ cucumbers for eyes, and cold towels available. I had two massages and the spa was for sure the highlight of the trip. The main restaurants- Hacienda, La Trattoria, and The Bistro were great. Good service and delicious food. The shows were good, entertainment staff friendly, nice gym Areas to note: Full disclaimer should be made that the all inclusive is not all inclusive. Drinks are bottom shelf and only 1 beer choice. Lots of restrictions, they watch you at the pool to make sure you don’t leave your seat for too long. Towels- policing of old towels was a bit ridiculous Our concierge was not available to help. Some staff were not friendly or helpful. Maybe I have too high expectations.
