"I was a single traveller. The room i was given was large, with a double bed, and ensuite bathroom. For the price i paid, i found it was good value for money - everything i needed was there. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room had wifi access and a tv. I let the host know roughly what time i would be arriving, and he was there, waiting to greet me. "Always a delight to return to the Mencey. Wonderful staff and amenities. Great place to relax by outdoor pool, which is serene, set within beautiful garden. Good location with only a few minutes walk to the centre of Santa Cruz."

"Pour une vacance d’une semaine, l’environnement est merveilleux. Belle présentation, les déjeuners étaient variés, copieux et délicieux. L’entretien journalier favorisait la détente autant dans les chambres que dans l’espace de la grande piscine. Le seul aspect négatif mais qui n’est absolument pas du ressort de l’hôtel, cette région au nord de Tenerife est assez nuageuse en juin. Beau séjour!"

"Nice hotel - very clean - very comfortable bed and great shower. A bit noisy at weekends, but fine on other nights. Great central location. TV not great - limited channels which sometimes didn’t have great reception. Screen mirroring function didn’t work during our stay. Pool more decorative as very shallow - not one for swimming in. Overall a really good hotel that does the important things right."

"The property was well located across from the Ramblas and down the street from the most beautiful park. The rooftop pool and sunning area gave a wonderful view of the surrounding area and mountains and water. All the staff was personable and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel."

"Great stay. Room was fantastic, with beautiful wood ceiling providing historic charm. Location was perfect, steps from old town close to shops and restaurants and sights. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular at the Vinoteca where we had lovely local wines and the doorman who provided best food recommendations. Highly recommend."

"We got the all inclusive package and the staff was consummating to my friend that is gluten free. The staff is not all bilingual if you do not speak any Spanish. The hotel was nice. There is no AC in the summer just heat. The heated pool was not warm. Pools were fairly dirty. We loved the location and the meals. Breakfast ends a little early but overall it was very convenient and well worth the money"
