Learn how the stadium first opened in 2007 to a series of 10 gigs by local superstar band Bon Jovi. Other momentous occasions have included performances by Paul McCartney and The Eagles, auditions for The X Factor and the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals in hockey.

Purchase tickets online for a sports game or a show. Recent performers have included Lorde, Janet Jackson and Katy Perry. You can also go in person to the box office on the side of the arena. It’s open Monday through Friday from late morning until early evening.
The Prudential Center stands beside the political hub of the Government Center in the heart of Newark. Ride the train to Newark Penn Station, which is a 5-minute walk east of the arena. Visit nearby institutions, such as Newark City Hall, Military Park and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
