"The hotel really took you back in time. Very well kept up for its age. A lot of history in the area and right across the street from the Alamo. Multiple dining options. The construction outside was a little inconvenient getting around, but looking forward to it getting completed. Breakfast was a little bit overpriced for what was offered. Overall, a great stay and would do it again."

"First and foremost, the staff at this property are AMAZING, and they make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. The lobby is beautiful, and Niche (coffe shop) and The Gavel (restaurant and bar) are neighborhood gems! So nice to be able to walk downstairs and have wonderful coffee/ breakfast / drinks. The room was very clean and comfortable; however, it could use a bit of an update. The AC unit was a bit noisy, but in fairness, it was trying to keep up with 100 degree weather. The hotel is so conveniently located. This is a great boutique hotel, affordably priced for familiar or a quick getaway. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"We were looking for somewhere on the RiverWalk and this hotel is right on it. Amazing building with a lobby that is original to the old building. Absolutely fantastic. Room clean and fully functional. Very nice size. Parking via the valet was right in the building. Easy lobby access. Elevator to RiverWalk and you are there. Can not recommend this hotel more highly. "
