"Our stay at Thompson Zihuatanejo on Playa La Ropa was exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly suited to a relaxing beach escape. The pools are fantastic — peaceful, well maintained, and a wonderful place to spend the day soaking up the atmosphere. The breakfast and dinners at the resort restaurant were a highlight of our stay. We especially appreciated the focus on fresh local produce and authentic regional dishes, all prepared with great quality and care. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating the kind of hospitality that makes you want to return. And the sunsets… evening walks along Playa La Ropa directly in front of the resort were simply magical. Watching the sun disappear over the bay with the waves rolling in was unforgettable.
