"Very clean, great location although up a hill. We walked up and down but you could get a taxi. Poolside lovely and infinite pool a blessing on hot days. Staff very helpful and efficient.Boat trip to nearby villages excellent."

"Great location and views. Great pools and activities for the kids. Rooms were nicely renovated and well equipped. Good to have so many drinks stations around the pool. Hotel was very busy during the week we went which meant finding a free table for dinner was stressful. But the food was good, with a good range for us and the kids. "

"Basic apartment but provided everything we needed. Excellent power shower and double sinks were good. We didn’t select a room with a terrace and didn’t miss it as went to beach each day - 30 minute steady pace walk away. Lack of receptionist wasn’t ideal but was able to telephone number posted on wall and they sent someone over. Rooftop pool area was clean and never had many people at it. Includes to Cabana type beds at no cost. Location is around half way between sea level and very top....

"We had a nice stay, we went in January so there were a lot of retired guests around. For the price it was worth it (compared to the neighbouring hotels which were more expensive) but our room waa directly under the dining room so there was always noise when they moved the chairs around. Other than that the service was very friendly and there is a spar conveniently located in the hotel."

"Rooms were spacious with a huge terrace with your own sun loungers. Beautiful view of the bay below. Beds were very comfy. Food and drink options were standard for all inclusive hotel. Entertainment was a bit dull. It is at the top of a very steep hill and there was no shuttle bus to the beach. "

"The best gay hotel I've stayed in and one of the best hotels overall. The place is great, really relaxing and friendly. The rooms are really comfortable and beautifully decorated and also very well maintained and cleaned and the staff really are amazing. "My family and I went here for spring break, the weather was amazing and the beach was within a 10 minute walk. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at! Love the activities in the evening and the breakfast buffet was amazing! Absolutely recommended again!"

"Given a ground floor appartment. The people above us was dragging chairs and banging on the floor. Really noisy. We asked to please be quite. Nouse started at 7am. Again when we was lying down in the afternoon. The stack pipe from anove woke us up in the middle of the night if the upstairs people used the loo. Our bedroom was connected to the bathroom with a sensor light that stayed on for 2 mins if you moved in your bed making it like the eluminations of blackpool. Never again"

"Lovely views from everywhere. Attractive and clean environment .Good beach and sea bathing - all strikingly clean. A wealth of bars and restaurants behind beach, with some decent shops too. Excellent hotel for couples with/without young children.A bit limited for older offspring.Some traffic noise from vehicles going to and from Puerto Mogan, but these are out of sight."

Very enjoyable stay

"I'd read on trip advisor that there was terrible food poisoning etc! Rubbish, they might have had a norovirus bug in the hotel but staff made every effort with sanitisers at meal times to eliminate this, although we never spoke to anyone who was affected. Food was lovely & varied, no complaints. I was here for my friends 60th, as I found it, all the staff I came across were amazing. Salvador in the main restaurant who works mornings & evenings was brilliant when we wanted to organise a cake we had to bring our own as hotel need 48hrs (for info), to supply one. He kept it cool for us & made sure staff brought it out at correct time. All rooms sea view & west facing so you get the sunset. My only downside is the entertainment at night, its very basic/boring, thats my only complaint, Riu liven the entertainment up! We may be middle aged but people love 'Good Music'."
