Pilanesberg is one of my favourite game reserves. Sadly, the roads are in a very poor condition. Game is plentiful.

Absolutely incredible - the rangers were really knowledgeable and shared that knowledge with each other so we were able to go and see the big cats when they put in an appearance. Absolutely stunning break and blown away at how they made access work!
"Had a brilliant stay at the Palace. The breakfast was excellent so much choice and Robert playing the piano was lovely, he is so talented and friendly, he played a few notes of my husbands favourite song when requested. Service was top notch. Would stay longer next time. "
"Game rangers Neil and newly appointed Carel were fantastic. They are so passionate about their jobs and so knowledgeable.
We had wonderful game drives with fabulous sightings of 4 of the Big Five. The leopard alluded us despite Neil and Carel's best efforts.
Only small criticism is that lighting in the lounge of the Executive Suite was poor. It was impossible to read or play cards in the evening. The room needs better lighting.
A fantastic stay though. Highly recommended.

"Amazing resort in Pilanesberg. Very high standard of service. Food and service first class. Safari vehicles well maintained and comfortable. Even have comfort stop during drives. Our ranger excellent (Jaktah-probably spelt incorrectly sorry) with vast knowledge of wildlife and birdlife. Saw big five. Each drive very different in terms of viewing and terrain. Rooms comfortable and spacious as were communal areas. Nice pool."
