"The resort is next to some nasty smelling rotting trash. You will have to plug your nose walking down to the breakfast area. The food was ok but the foul stenches around the property make it hard to enjoy food. The beach is disappointing. It’s a pond and no real beachfront. Also sketchy looking murky water. No waves. Nothing. The pool is nice but the tiles were dirty, missing in many spots and kids in the adult pool. Bandages floating everywhere too. Bed is like a rock. Uncomfortable. Worth the $80 tho. Private pool access is nice too. Don’t drink the water! Not even for brushing teeth! "

"Pool was a bit chilly, we were there in January so I assume that in the summer months it’s not needed to have the pool heated, but just note that in Dec-Feb "

"The hotel was very unique! The staff were helpful, plenty of room to chill out and they had games. Room was very nice- it had a balcony and the bathroom was a decent size- it was also clean. Air conditioning worked perfectly which was great on the really hot nights, the only small issue is that the room are quite dark but other than that would stay here again!"

"Quiet & quirky. Lovely outside restaurant within hotel grounds. Lots of animals, rabbits, dogs, ducks & water buffalo !! Staff good & room clean. Would definitely recommend "

"Beautiful hotel. Love the pools. Didn't use the spa. The outside fitness area was being renovated/expanded so I did not get to try their muay thai class. It's 15-20 walk from any major street with restaurants. If you plan to rent a scooter, it's not an issue"

"Receptionen ligger på Ratana Hotel lige ved. Venlig personale og mulighed for at bruge fitnessrum, pool og morgenmad på hotellet. Der findes shuttle service til de gode strande ca. 5 km væk. Selve værelset er ret beskedent, med meget lille badeværelse. Ellers er der rent og pænt. "

"Smell was bad sheets after being changed were dirty the hotel was only a year old felt like it was 10 years old rooms were bad poor furniture finish hated it wouldnt recommend to any one i know very poor. "
