"Handsome Hotel will be my new go-to hotel in Paris! Really convenient location with beautiful and comfortable rooms. Slept really well despite it being on quite a busy street (clearly the rooms are quite soundproof!). Staff were friendly and really helpful - they kindly stored our bags before check-in and after check-out so we could explore Paris properly without being weighed down with suitcases. "Apparently in France it is a requirement that hotels switch on their air conditioning system no later than May 28th. France was going through a hot spell with daytime temperatures in Paris of 31°c. The hotel was very hot inside and our room was even hotter. I went to talk to the Front Desk about it and was told no AC until May 28th. Other family members stayed that night in the Hilton next door and that hotel was fully air conditioned. The result for us was that we spent an unimaginably uncomfortable night in an room that must have been about 86° or 87° with absolutely no airflow from the heating/cooling unit in our room - no airflow at all. This was a truly terrible experience."

"The property was fantastic! It was right near the Zaan Sebastian metro which is central to all sights. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The service was excellent. The hotel was near to shopping, food, and just pleasurable walking. The junior suite was roomy and well appointed. It would be tight for three with a lot of luggage, but perfect for 2 people with average luggage. Plan on bringing my daughter back. Loved it!"

"Beautiful hotel. A bit tricky to navigate with a bit of an odd layout and spiral stairs that can be hard to get heavy luggage up and down, but very beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place is clean and has a/c and feels more modern. Only thoughts were: 1. It was freezing, I tried to turn the a/c down it was so cold. I even started to get a bit of a stuffy nose from the cold. All-in-all with it being 28 degrees outside it wasn't the worst problem to have. 2. The tv didn't work. Again, not a huge deal. I didn't go the Paris to watch TV 3. The double bed was essentially two twin beds put together. As someone who sleeps in the middle this was tricky at night as they separated a bit. But again, not a major problem. I bet it would be easier for couples. Great spot, super convenient and really excellent staff."
