"Very friendly staff, always welcoming and helpful. Rooms can do a bit of thorough cleaning, particularly the shared bathroom. Guests should respect shared rooms and all other spaces. Unfortunately, do not take this into consideration. Negative point: Breakfast used to be satisfying and a good way to start a long day ahead, with a variety of fruit, jams, yoghurt, cold meat, but now it's only two kinds of jam and no yoghurt. Surprisingly, a guest is allowed only one cup of tea or coffee. This has changed since the new kitchen manager took over. She's also not friendly, which is quite opposite from the rest of the friendly staff. Thankfully, there's a shared guest kitchen where one can prepare own meals. Nonetheless, my entire stay was as pleasant as always. Thank you to the staff at reception and security. "

"Excellent value for money - this place has great, friendly and helpful staff and was perfect for a stay with me and my two children. The area felt really safe with everything you need nearby including some great, local places to eat and drink. It is moments away from the metro line which we used all the time to get us all around Paris and also felt very safe and a 30 minute taxi ride from CDG airport. The hotel itself is lovely - rooms are decorated nicely, impeccably clean and our triple room was exactly what we needed with plenty of wardrobe space for a few nights, a coffee machine and fridge. We spent time drinking the free hot chocolate in the courtyard and staff were also happy for us to eat our lunch from the local boulangerie there - it really felt like a home from home. Yes, you are not within walking distance of central Paris but we loved travelling by metro and were only ever a 15-20 minute ride from wherever we wanted to go. My 7 and 12 year olds loved it there and slept like babies! "

"Was very wary after reading the negative comments but the hotel was fabulous, so close to the metro so was easy to get to everything and never had any issues, yes the area is a bit run down but never had any issues with the locals or anyone else. The staff were brilliant and helpful, I would definitely return. "

"The hotel price is affordable. The staffs are helpful & polite,breakfast is excellent. Rooms are been cleaned regularly. You can easily get Bus / Train to City centre. Beside the hotel, you can do all shopping. Will definitely lodge there whenever I visit Paris. "

"Hotel F1 was a perfect place for my stay in Paris. It is just literally outside of Paris, which means you’re away from the insane tourist crowds (and prices) of places like the Eiffel tower, Louvre, and what have you, but all those places are a quick and cheap metro ride away. The location instead is in a more “real” (if you will) part of Paris, where local life and atmosphere can be observed more authentically. You are close to wonderful neighborhoods, cuisine, and people that are off the beaten path for a stereotypical tourist visiting the city of light. The hotel itself was perfect for what it is: a straightforward crash pad that allows you to see the city for cheap. The front desk people were SUPER kind and helpful. The room was very small and bare bones, but it was quiet, comfortable, and charmingly decorated. The bed was rather firm (maybe this is common in Europe?) but perfect for my liking. I would stay here again!"
