"I was in the building adjacent to the pub and my room faced the fields - what a view! I had a double room and it was very clean and spacious, although a small bit of feedback, I think the carpets could do with a clean soon but everything else was great. The receptionist checking me in was so friendly. The breakfast was so tasty, the bacon and sausage were thick and chunky, really good quality. The staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly and I loved how everything was locally sourced including the tea. It is in a very rural area, so it might not suit everyone, although for me it was perfect. It’s very well located and it’s about a 20 min drive to Rhossili Bay and the same amount of time to Port Eynon. I would definitely recommend staying there and I hope to visit again soon."

"The chalet was exactly as advertised and was spotlessly clean and well presented. There are 2 bedrooms..both are quite tight for space but comfortable. All the amenities looked newish and worked perfectly including TV, heated bathroom mirror (a godsend!) and kitchen appliances. Nice space outside for a BBQ with a table and 4 chairs. The real plus is the location. Genuinely less than a 10 minute walk through the village to Oxwich Bay which is a beautiful, long beach with great views. It’s nicely under commercialised with just a shop/cafe and some interesting looking saunas right on the beach. Good location for Worms Head and 3 Cliffs Bay as well. Recommended!"

"Large modern apartment in a beautiful location with easy access to the whole of the Gower. Apartment is nicer than photos as it has a new kitchen and sofas. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. In September it was very quiet at night. Communication with both the agency and owner was good. The Ship Inn does excellent food and is a 10 minute walk. Make sure you screenshot the key safe code beforehand. We didn't and as no mobile signal in the village, we had to log into a kind neighbour 's internet to find it 😂"

"A lovely little apartment, with all one needs for self catering included, absurdly close to the beach and the pub. I was in apartment 7. The apartment is actually quite a good size and could comfortably accommodate one or two people. There is a small, en-suite bathroom with shower (no bath) and a large sitting/dining room with small kitchen area. You can come and go as you please with the electronic key fob provided and literally paces from the building you are in the dunes and then on the beach. Paces in the other direction and you are outside the local pub (which doesn’t seem to be particularly noisy late in the evening). I have two tiny criticisms, probably both associated with being on the top floor of a three floor building. The water pressure in the shower was not great. Enough to have a functional shower but not very strong. And, on booking the apartment on Expedia, the only picture of a balcony that I saw was actually one of the balconies from the floor below, which are much bigger and have furniture on them. When I got there I discovered that, on the top floor, the balconies are much smaller and clearly only made for standing on, though I could have moved one of the dining room chairs out there if I’d wanted to. You couldn’t get a couple sitting out there though. I’m not-picking though. All-in-all a great place to base yourself for chilling on the beach or exploring the rest of the Gower Peninsula from."
