Probably the nicest place ive ever stayed. Old world charm and immaculate modern room. The people were warm, helpful and efficient. If you get the chance, spend a night or two thete.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and pleasant. This hotel is convenient for my work as I live 50 miles away from my studios and travelling can be difficult in bad weather. I will be using every time I stay in Llanelli. Cannot fault.

The property is currently under renovation so facilities were limited. Pictures on Expedia did not reflect true situation. If you dont mind staying on a working site then ok. No dining facilities whilst we were there.

TV didn’t work, poor state of decor, our room was above the bar and the jukebox was left on all night, after lake of use the juke box plays the odd song, so we had quite a few times being woken up! Room was clean as was hotel just a bit untidy in areas, and in need of some touch in decor. Food and drink in restaurant was lovely and great value

I booked during a stressful moment and when we arrived was told the booking was for the following week but the manager so kindly changed it to there and then. We stayed here twice within a few weeks and the first booking we had a charming original room. The second booking we had a smaller room, adequate, but not as charming. Still, a good sleep was had. Great staff, a busy venue for events and the restaurant and pub. Very walkable to shops at town centre.

When I arrived, there was no heating on in the room and it was quite chilly. I had a word with reception and it was soon resolved. Someone came to the rescue! Comfortable, quiet and pleasant all night. Very friendly and helpful at the Thomas Arms. I will be returning when on my regular visits to Llanelli. Thanks.

My stay at the Thomas Arms was far from satisfactory given the unclean state of the entire hotel including stains to most of the hotel’s carpets together with road noise from the main thoroughfare right outside the room window. Thought that the team at the hotel were very disinterested in the job and certainly not going the extra mile towards their guests. The hotel is tired and worn out. Located on the edge of the town centre with easy access to restaurants bars and shopping together with public transport this would be a convenient place to stay. Could be so much better with very little effort.

Modern place on a main street, but not real near the ocean. Nice place to spend a night, We were there Sunday night and the restaurant was closed, but there was reasonable food about a third of a mile away (also an ALDIs). Bakery for breakfast located across the street. The hotel’s parking lot was convenient, but if the hotel was closed probably somewhat limited.

Great location for a base, good pub food. Everyone was helpful. The only drawback was no hot water for 2 days out of 3, so we had to have cold showers, though the staff did try to resolve this.

A charming building from the outside, but in an unprepossessing position at a road junction. However, we were warmly welcomed, and checkin was fast and efficient. Our family room was of a very good size; clean and well provisioned. We ALL had a really good, comfortable nights sleep. A real gem of a place…and the staff were super friendly..
