Top Oswestry Hotel Reviews
The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection
"We stayed for 2 nights, even though there was loud music nearby that stopped at a reasonable time and we slept well, Our room was clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay, Gluten free options from the restaurant made it great for my partner, on site parking wasnโt great but there are numerous options nearby at reasonable rates, would definitely stay again"
Moxy Chester
"In good area"
Buckatree Hall Hotel
"A nice location, good quality rooms. Shame that there was no food and no bar. When everything is back to the way it was, it will be a lovely place to stay. I feel it just needs some work to bring it up to standard."
The Mill Hotel & Spa
"Welcoming and helpful staff. Great location for walk to town centre. Excellent leisure, restaurant and bar facilities within comfortable surroundings. Very good value for money."
Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa
"Fantastic stay at the hotel, one of the best Iโve been to by far. Great location just outside Chester and a very relaxing feel to it. Executive room was amazing for us."
White Lion Royal Hotel
"Very helpful staff for the august bank holiday . The window needs fixing but the fan was a great help in the room. After ten pm the pub noise is tolerable . The pub is right in the middle of town and convenient for the rugby , pizza, curry house . Free parking to the rear and your bike can go in the room . The rooms are big enough ."
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Chester
"The room was sufficient for our stay, the let down for us was no drawers to put our underwear in, the radiator in the bathroom was controlled by maintenance staff which wasn't ideal as we had to ask reception each time we wanted it on and also ask when we wanted it turning it off. We had booked a couple of treatments as we were celebrating our anniversary to be told that we had to pay an extra ยฃ20 per person for a two hour use of the spa which was not stipulated in the description, we only booked this hotel due to there being a photo of a beautiful pool in the main picture, we had paid a substantial amount to stay at the hotel and treatments, so didn't expect to have to pay more just to use the pool for half an hour before our treatments. After a couple of discussions the spa staff agreed to let have a complimentary hour use of the pool, which was exceptional, the treatments were splendid too. The afternoon tea was a bit of a let down, the actual sandwiches were fair, the cakes were nice, but the scones left a lot to be desired they had been frozen and defrosted so were rock hard once they were brought to our table, very disappointed. The breakfast was a different thing altogether, there was so much to choose from, it was all well laid out, freshly cooked, good value for money."
The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
"Sadly the hotel is room only these days room was in good condition and clean a bit old fashion other than that couldnโt fault it . Bathroom was great and nice and clean. Sad there is no bar or restaurant in operation how ever plenty of places to eat with in 10m away.Being a Shrewsbury lad went to plenty of functions and weddings here sad itโs not in full operation . Plenty of parking on site and staff very helpful ."
Crowne Plaza Chester by IHG
