"They don’t have some of the amenities like a small refrigerator, but the staff was kind enough to let me keep something that I had already bought in their fridge. On the frustrating side I told them when I arrived that I likely would need to leave a day early. They said it was no problem, but when the time to cancel, they said I could not. When I complained about this, they did give me a partial refund. So the staff was great, but I think the management was a bit a penny, pincher. They also said they were going to clean the room one day and they never showed up."

"when checking in they said we could not because of the strike this was after a 14 hour plane flight, 20min train ride and 10 min walk. asked to just stay and not worry about cleaning room or anything just a place to sleep after having booked for 6 months. but no so luckily our Daughter & son and families were staying at Thon hotel and through them checking in manager was helpful to find us another Thon to stay put because they were full. I would never recommend the Grand Hotel was willing to turn people out on the streets and not have a place to sleep"

"Pretty easy self check-in at kiosk and luggage storage available via kiosk. There was a host available if you needed help. Building is large and connected to a couple of restaurants. No appliances in the room, no TV, no closet or dresser - only hanging rods. Room is a good size. The common area had disposable utensils and cups, water kettle, microwave, and refrigerator but no stove. Coffee machine was available but not free. Lots of working USB ports in the room. Centrally located, near tram and central station. Lots of restaurants, shops, and markets nearby. Many closed on Sundays."

"We had an excellent stay at the Hub. It is very well located. The reception staff, in particular Marius, were very helpful, friendly and efficient. We were just feet away from the central train station, and about a 10 minute walk from the Opera House and Munch Museum. City Hall and the Royal Palace was about a 20 minute walk away. The hotel is located close to many restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options, and even includes a Barista. The drinks in the rooftop bar were very good but it gets crowded early and quickly. Highly recommend staying at this hotel."

"I like the Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget Oslo. I chose this hotel mainly because of its good location. It is a fifteen minute walk from the main station, and is close to the main tourist attractions. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. My room was a little small, but was comfortable and clean. The hotel was good value for money. I would happily stay there again."
