Wonderful place to stay in Arenal. You do need a car but for that you have a beautiful location and a wonderful stay. There is no noise apart from the birds and breakfast on a balcony overlooking the lovely gardens.

AMAZING this place is absolutely gorgeous, high standard of decoration, comfort and amenities. The owners are so welcoming and helpful and will help you plan and even book tours and transport for you. Its really good value, top accommodation at middle range prices...definitely recommend

Fantastic view, beautifully designed villa and very clean. Attentive concierge.

Incredible - Nayara tented camp is absolutely magical, an the team there was so wonderful. Paradise.

We loved our stay at Lomas del Volcán and can't recommend it highly enough. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. We received an extremely friendly welcome and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was amazing, with so many exciting options. The bar offered a great menu (we didn't try the restaurant) and the swim-up bar was a real highlight, especially as it was in a heated pool. So cool, with great cocktails and smoothies. Our kids loved the pools and...

one of a kind experience in the hills of Bijagua. Great concept, and a neat trail built by the owners to see the surrounding areas. 10/10

We booked a room upstairs and it was fabulous. Very well-maintained, spacious and clean room. We sat early each morning and drank our coffee and watched the birds start their day. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Gabi was amazing for suggestions of food and tours too! Breakfast is a 2-3 minute walk away at an eco spot which does not disappoint! They put food out for the animals and you can watch them while you enjoy fresh fruit, local coffee and great eggs or traditional breakfast....

We stayed at Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs in a Chato Suite and overall had a wonderful experience. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery with views of Arenal volcano (when the clouds clear). The resort feels peaceful and spacious, which adds to its relaxed atmosphere, and it’s only a 5-minute Uber ride into town, which was inexpensive, safe, and reliable. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a private pool and terrace waking up to that view was a real...

We had a wonderful stay at La Fortuna Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the overall vibe was great. We stayed in a room with a view of the volcano and we were able to watch birds directly. The bed and room were comfortable. Centrally located for easy access to shops and restaurants. The provided breakfast was delicious. The team happily accommodated us to provide vegan versions by leaving out the egg and cheese and providing some additions. We would stay again if we get...

Amazing stay. Hot springs on site with several different pools to choose from. Add in a jacuzzi, and a bar / restaurant, a spa and a small farm which provides the vegetables, eggs and cheese for the hotel, this place is a prime example of how to do ecotourism. Handily located close to, but not in the bustle of La Fortuna, Arenal, Rio Celeste, the Hanging Bridges and all the adventure pursuits are close by.

Beautiful property. Compact but has everything you need. Located a little outside of La Fortuna but has a litttle supermarket, Ann’s several cafe and restaurants within a 10 min walk. Within easy reach of Tabacon, Arenal and La Fortuna Waterfall via car or uber. Perk of the property is the jacuzzi.

Heart of Palm cooking class and tasting was superb. I wish hotel had some king of "manual" for emergency cases. I was travelling with Diabetic child and had no idea how far/close was hospital etc.

Wonderful hotel, with really helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are luxurious and well designed with fantastic views of volcán arenal. They offer free yoga classes every morning in an outdoor yoga pavilion surrounded by rainforest which is a truly fantastic way to start the day. You can also use all the facilities at the even more luxurious Nayara Springs resort (which is adults only) thus giving you more options. Breakfast is great too. Only minor downside is the lack of truly vegetarian...
