One morning, we were on the way to the car and a staff person walked by carrying a long board, smiling broadly, and said, "time to go rescue a baby racoon!". Sure enough, a baby racoon was stuck in a dumpster. My husband and I just looked at each other like "is this for REAL?" I think the all the staff really love working there! "

It is clean and very well maintained. Many of the guests return here each year and are very friendly. There are cute shops right by the hotel and a small craft market. It is a calm quiet area, right across from an orchard, but still close to Fish Creek. I would definitely stay again. This hotel made our Door County trip extra special. "
