It is extremely quiet despite being next door to a pub and near the shops. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything anyone could need for a self-catering accommmodation. "Plumber Manor is a perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful retreat in beautiful gardens , a comfortable bed and delicious food. It has a well stocked bar and the wine prices are reasonable. The only negative was the wifi was weak in the courtyard room we stayed in which caused ‘buffering’ when watching a film. We mentioned it to staff and it will be rectified. It is a family owned hotel so the service feels personal. Somewhere we would definitely like to return to. There are many interesting places to visit nearby, including the Jurassic coast and National Trust properties. The hotel staff will help to plan your day."
