"The Anvil is very well located for nearby towns and attractions Food was great but menu choices limited.6 Enjoyed our stay overall. However decor in accommodation area was tired. Staff were polite but not overly engaging (or particularly friendly)."
The Nog Inn

"We stayed here 2 nights whilst visiting the area, what a great find. The accommodation is in a separate building set behind the pub in the beer garden..the room was comfortable with a lovely bathroom. We had our evening meals in the pub and also breakfast, what fantastic food, 10/10 and the service from the owners and their team was first class. Thankyou. Nog Inn.."

"Overall it was a lovely place and the food was great. However, a double mattress would have been better than 2 single mattresses with a sheet over them. Didn't make for a great night's sleep."

Plumber Manor

"Plumber Manor is a perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful retreat in beautiful gardens , a comfortable bed and delicious food. It has a well stocked bar and the wine prices are reasonable. The only negative was the wifi was weak in the courtyard room we stayed in which caused ‘buffering’ when watching a film. We mentioned it to staff and it will be rectified. It is a family owned hotel so the service feels personal. Somewhere we would definitely like to return to. There are many interesting places to visit nearby, including the Jurassic coast and National Trust properties. The hotel staff will help to plan your day."
