Room was big, beautifully decorated and a great balcony which you could use during rain or shine. It was great to actually have cutlery that wasn’t plastic or wooden which is what we experienced in every hotel we stayed in during our road trip of California, also to use china tableware instead of throwaway plastic or paper plates. Great restaurant attached to the hotel, live music and fantastic/funny waitress. Would highly recommend both hotel and restaurant.

The Madrona in Healdsburg is easily one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We had a room in the Coach House - absolutely stunning. Turndown service, proper attention to detail, and even the manager came over to suggest some brilliant local spots to eat. They offered a car into town if we needed it too. Honestly, just an incredible experience from start to finish.

This was the 8th stop on our honeymoon road trip and the nicest room we had stopped in out of the 13 stays by a country mile. The room we had, had an unbeatable harbour view and was furnished incredibly well, it was very clean and the huge bathtub and shower were yet more bonus items. Very luxurious and a really nice treat. Within walking distance there are nice resteraunts with fresh seafood and good bars in the town, I believe the Inn has a resteraunt with a harbour view from the outside...

The Gingerbread mansion in Ferndale is like a fairytale that has to be seen to be believed. Immaculate Victorian decor from another magnificent era is presented in all 11 bedrooms. Afternoon tea greets you on arrival and the home cooked breakfast is right out of the top drawer, not to mention the breadth of home baked muffins and pastries you can take on the go. We saw this place by chance, but will now find reasons to go there deliberately. Thank you for the experience.

We didn’t quite know what to expect, but this hotel pleasantly surprised us. Clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We didn’t intend on using the casino etc , we were just passing through - but the rooms were spacious and the hotel exceeded our expectations. We also had to leave earlier than planned due to extreme weather warnings - the hotel were supportive and accommodating.

Excellent value for money. Worth staying in even if you're not interested in the casino. Perfectly and excellent rooms.

Beautiful spot within incredible scenery. Stayed 1 night whilst on a 10 night road trip and our favourite place of the trip. Very spacious lodge and particularly nice to be able to walk down to the stunning river for a swim.
