This was a lovely place to stay however next visit I will ask for one of the upper rooms as the people over our room were noisy. Other than that everything was great.

Carter House was fantastic. The inn was charming, the staff terrific, and the food was top notch. Every single staff member went out of their way to make our stay perfect. I will stay at Carter House whenever I am in Eureka.

The hotel is a beautiful renovated Victorian building. The restaurant is wonderful and the included breakfast is one of the best I have had in the US. The area around the hotel is rather boring - but then again, downtown Eureka is not London or Paris. But within a short car rise there are interesting nature areas and places to hike or take a walk.

Love this property. I like that it has plug in for electric vehicles. The breakfast is always delicious. Cookies (homemade) are a delight. The complimentary wine for happy hour is great. Staff is the best.
