Loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again on our next adventure in. The location was perfect to get into Redwood National Park. Staff was great and very friendly. Rooms were clean and cozy. 10/10 if at all possible get a balancy room and watch the sun come up with the town and the mountains around you...truly like a movie scene.

Can’t really give a complete review on this place. We checked in near midnight after 9 hours of planes/airports followed by a 7 hour drive to get here. But we slept really good and the beds were comfy. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of options including bacon!

I made an accident when booking and booked this hotel when I thought I was booking in a different city. I figured out my mistake and asked Expedia to talk to this hotel about refunding my money because it was just a mistake and this hotel refused to refund my money stating that I had checked in to both the rooms. This was a complete lie by the hotel because I never even went to this town and was in a totally different town that night. Will never stay here now, that is just poor service to prey on people’s mistakes. It was early in the day that I tried to cancel and they could have sold the room to someone else.

So, I booked this hotel and we got into a bad car accident, tried to cancel the same day we were supposed to check in. Would not even help us out by refunding. We didn't even make it up to Garberville. So not happy with this Hotel not trying to work with us.

Dingy, Dirty & Dated. The room smelled bad and it was dirty. And there was someone slamming the sliding glass door in the room above us all night long. Literally the worst motel/hotel I've stayed in for as long as I can remember.

The rate is a little higher than I’d expect for this basic quality of a property, but there are limited options in the area. If you want to see the redwoods or just in the area, it’s a clean quiet place to crash. The staff is all very friendly and they have a decent breakfast. The hot tub was out of commission while I was here.

Very nice lady at the front desk. She gave me restaurant recommendations and showed me a menu from the one she highly recommended. The room was very nice, clean and overlooked the pool area. Great place to stay. I can’t say much for the town though—quite run down!
