"We went for this place to enjoy the beach, beach resort - this was a wellness spa and the beach is messed up with port construction- a massive part of the beach is gone. "Tranquil property. Comfortable rooms but what others say about the air conditioners noise and bathrooms is true. The staff, especially restaurant were terrific. Management is aware the gym needs work. I exercise seriously and had to go to an outside facility. No more harbor construction noise. The harbor could be an eyesore if you want natural ocean views. But it had its own charm. Management really cares about your satisfaction."

"Had a wonderful 1 night stay in gokulam grand in kovalam. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Service was fantastic. Our room was very clean and well maintained. My only criticism is that the activity room could be maintained better. Only the table tennis, foosball and pool table were somewhat usable. The tv didn't work, no proper board games and AC didnt work either. "
