"The hotel was dingy and the room was not cleaned well, it did not appear to have been vaccumed. The place was dim and we were not comfortable. I also saw at least one child doing the cleaning in a room, as well as sheets strewn all over the floors as we walked to our room. The check in and check out line was very long, as it seemed the hotel staff was using paper to work with the guests. The room and hotel were so uncomfortable that we did not even stay and ended up just driving back home for 6 hours that night instead of staying in the hotel. I would not recommend, it was not a pleasant environment"

"I picked this hotel because it recieved a 6.8 "Good" rating on Expedia. It was far from good. I would have given it a 0 but that was not an option.The entire property is run down and dirty on the outside. The room clearly had not been cleaned. Therr was residue on the toilet seat, floors, mirrors and chairs. The tub was stained. Rust on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. There was a puddle of water on the floor between the tub and toilet. A drop of water landed on my arm. I looked up and see water dripping from the rusted and cracked ceiling! I was so disgusted that I slept in the clothes I traveled in and kept my shoes on to walk across the floor. The bathroom door was cracked and would not close unless you ramed your shoulder into it. We didn't use the shower as the tub was dirty. The microwave was rusted inside. All the furnitue looked like it was picked up off the curb on trash day. The mattress cover was ripped revealing a yellowed mattress and had a cigarette burn on it.(non smoking room). When we turned on the heat an awful smell came out! The only reason we stayed is because it was late and we had to get back on the road early the next morning. There was hot water from the sink faucet in the evening. The next morning there was none. Even after running it fir 5 mins. I paid $100 for this. I will be demanding a refund. "

"I am extremely disappointed with my 2 days stay at the Comfort Inn. The room was not properly cleaned, and hair all over the bathroom floor, walls and bathtub. Toilet was not cleaned. Ants all around the bathroom floor . Not enough Bathroom towels and toilet paper . When we asked front desk person about cleaning, he said they will come every other day for cleaning. I'll never go back to that place again . "

"The Inn at Mountainview is more than adequate for what it is. The staff is very friendly and it is a great place to stay with pets. The rooms are large and there is a lovely outdoor area for pets. The hotel elevator and stairs are both good options. The rooms are very basic but sufficient and clean. The room lighting isn't great even with the 3 lamps on but that's manageable. There is a useful refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker in the the room. The coffee at breakfast is very good and the breakfast items included hot items like eggs and cold items, cereal and yogurt, and breads and pastries and fresh fruit. Just fine. The location is excellent and the parking is conveniently right outside."

"Waited for about 15 minutes to check in but foun out it was becasue they were short staffed and the frint person was in charge of so much more which was not their fault."

"Location central to restaurants. Brenda guest service was very helpful and professional. We came to Univ of Pitt graduation, she was able to accomodate us with checking in by 1pm instead of the 4pm check in time. Overall stay was great. Highly recommend Spring Hills at Marriott in Monroeville Pittsburg. "
