"Peaceful, respectful and tastefully set retreat right under the gaze of the mountains and the great wall. Staff were very accommodating and professional and helped with travel, hiking and access to and from the great wall. Food and room were really good and gym/spa facilities 24hr opening very welcome to soak in the mountain air. Well worth a visit for a day or two. "

"Booked this hotel on the understanding that it provides airport shuttle service. Only found out at check in that the shuttle bus is not 24-hour service, which was no use to me. Had to spend extra money on taxi fares. There aren’t much going on around the hotel. We walked approximately 2 kilometres and found a couple of eating places. Otherwise it is a clean and comfortable hotel. Suitable for stopover stays. "
