I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel Recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff attentive and very helpful. Particularly enjoyed the musicians in the evenings and also at breakfast. Ate in the restaurant on several occasions and food was very good. The manager Mr Deepak Devpura made a point of asking each day, how my stay was going. He and his team made my stay so enjoyable. Give this place a try, i dont think you will regret it

Gem of a place, absolute must for any period history experience seekers. Beautifully appointed and maintained heritage property on the water front with unparalleled night view of the City Palacae and Taj palace island on the lake. Great food (quality, safety, hygiene, flavour and service) at in-house Ambrai restaurant. Highly recommend.

The property was in an excellent location. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. We ate at both in-house restaurants and the food was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights here. We booked a Premier Suite with garden sit-out and it was the best choice we could have made. We arrived before 9 am after 2 long flights and were immediately given a room well before normal check in time to recupriate. The following morning we were asked if we would like to move to a better positioned room by the pool, which we did. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially Mr. Hookem (sorry if this is not how he spells his name) who put up with my inveterate questions and was helpful in every respect. This is a hidden gem in a quaint location in the Old town of Udaipur. The manager Jassu was extremely friendly and helpful, arranging airport transfers, suggesting places to visit and eat, etc. The location is excellent, being close to the City Palace, Jagdish temple and Pichola lake. The views from the rooms are fantastic, especially if you book the Maharaja suite with its own large terrace. The amenities are modern, clean and well maintained, and we would happily return here.

It was lake facing, quite, serine..Just the vacation we as family were looking for. The staff was good..the room was hygenic and food was excellent. From an improvement perspective - The TV was not operational (although thats the last thing I would like to watch) When we reached the property we were not welcomed as guests (did not get the vibe), nobody guided me to parking, there was no one to pick up our luggage.
