"Excellent location- very close to the Edinburgh Castle! Fresh breakfast with an assortment of items. Nicely appointed rooms."

"The staff was nice. The rooms were cleaned daily but make sure to put the door sign on the door so they know to clean it. The attached restaurant was pretty good and staff was nice and helpful as well. The mattress on the bed was very hard and barely had any give to it. Bathrooms were a decent size. Our room was facing towards the back which ended up being very loud at night. You could hear people walking around and even hear their conversations. Friday night was probably the worst with outside noises with a rugby game going on across the street and people leaving the bars. In the early morning, we would get woke up with trash pick up or people getting in and out of their cars."

"Staff very welcoming, even with it being busy with check-ins, still got walked to the room. The room was very clean and tidy, little issue with kettle but all rectified very quickly. Great place to stay and get a good night's sleep in a comfy bed."

"Room 110 should not be for guests, this should be used for luggage storage. With lifts on your left and noisy, drunk residents coming out of the lifts an all hours was disturbing enough. The bin shed to the left with people pushing trolleys of rubbish every hour throughout the night, then the door banging when going in and out meant I did not sleep a wink. I am absolutely shattered tonight. "

"Prefer to have tea stations in the room. Somewhat noisy someone kicking trash cans at 3am & the window didn’t fully close. But overall great stay for the price"

"First the staff was so helpful and friendly. The place was perfect for our 5 day stay. Close to a grocery store . Only issue was the washer /dryer combo. Not like in Canada so drying was difficult but a holder was provided. The had coffee and tea for us which was a nice bonus. I plan on using this company again when i travel to Scotland or Ireland."
