Super friendly staff who took our bags to our room, knew our room numbers every time we came back to the hotel (you have to leave your key at the desk when you go out) and answered any questions we had about the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and charmingly decorated. Good bathrooms, showers and AC that worked really well. I wasn't excited about the idea of hotel breakfast, but it was actually a highlight. After so many bad hotel breakfasts while my girls were playing club ball this was a delight. How do they have better pancakes in a small Italian hotel than in every hotel in America? Besides pancakes they had wonderful pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, bacon, Italian cold cuts etc. The location is just 50 yards or so from Piazza San Marco and about a 12 minute walk to Rialto. Great location and close to the "bus stop". Highly recommended. "
