"I really needed a room change , there were three of us and the beds were not big enough, the staff were abrupt and did not really try to accommodate us so that there were three beds for us to use or even a rollaway bed, the rooms are very tiny and there is no place to sit down in the room only a couple of chairs outside, there is no refrigerator , so no ability to keep drinks cold. My recommendation is to stay someplace else and visit. I had booked it for 4 nights and no refund was given, we left the next morning "

"Great older resort located on the outskirts of La Fortuna. Needs some upkeep on the roofs and some of the siding, we could see outside through the cracks in our closet. But, great pool, hot springs, dining on site."

"Hotel Los Lagos is the best hot springs resort at Arenal. The price is reasonable, the hot springs are great, the slide is fun, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff is helpful and friendly. I cannot say a bad thing about this resort, everything was great. This was my 2nd visit this year, and, I have visited this resort, maybe 8 or 10 times over the years."

Everyone was so hospitable at front reception, and the kitchen staff and sweet Wilberth, Raul, Christian etc., they were so hospitable and kind, making sure we were well taken care of. This place is a hidden gem and also so close to amazing places to visit. The rooms were immaculate and we had a huge king bed that was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!"
