"The booking details aren’t accurate on here from what the hotel told us. I don’t understand why there would be an option to pay later when the hotel said we can pay no later than 2 weeks in advance. We almost lost our room, and the communication wasn’t great. We spent 4 hours during a really busy time for us trying to figure out what was going on. We checked in fine, but I was getting charged twice and had to fix it with the hotel and spent more time and stress which was another inconvenience I had to deal with again during my trip and the short amount of time that we did have. I did enjoy my stay, but this was one of the most slippery resorts we’ve ever stayed at."

"Beautiful property with the space our family of 5 needed for sleeping. One thing we felt was missing is outlets as well as hooks in the shower or around room to hang up towels or wet swimsuits. Being as this is a hot springs resort, that seems to be a very needed thing in the rooms. Overall great experience however! "

"Absolutely love the staff, location, food and ambiance! Tucked away with beautiful view of the volcano, and feels like you’re in the rainforest. We saw sloths, beautiful birds and pure bliss in nature! "

"All of the staff was welcoming and willing to offer assistance at all times. There was always staff eager to point out the sloths and monkeys in the trees. They always remembered our names and what we were doing the day before and would follow up to find out how our day went. The standouts for our trip were Anthony (front desk) as well as Carlos and Christopher (our servers at breakfast). We were enjoying a soak in one of the hot springs and a sloth with a baby came down from the tree next to us about 15 feet away. It was the most incredible experience. The food was expensive, but there was the option to go into town and enjoy local restaurants, which we did a few times. It was nice to walk around downtown, even safe at night. The private plunge pool was an amazing experience, especially when it rained, which was everyday. I would love to come back again, worth every penny. Thanks to the staff, it truly was a pura vida experience."

"The property was excellent — very clean with amazing staff. The only downside was that the pool closes too early. It would be great if they extended the hours by at least an hour or two so guests can enjoy the hot springs after a long day of hiking."
