"My wife and I stayed 4 nights at AOLT and it was delightful! The hotel is right next to the volcano and the sights were mesmerizing. Also the nightly sunsets from the elevated deck overlooking Arenal lake were amazing. And all the birds and even monkeys were a great treat to see. And the trails were much fun and we did them all, with one on horseback. Lastly, the staff and the dining was 5 star, every meal was delicious. We hope to come back I. The future and bring family/friends! Pure vida!"

"This Guesthouse is a little Gem tucked away in the heart of the city but without the noise. Property was extremely clean, with all the necessities needed for a great stay. Room was perfect and breakfast was really good. The grounds were well kept and clean. Prices are very affordable. Check in was seamless with Fernando. Nothing requested was too much - All staffs were very accommodating. Breakfast included - prepared fresh and cooked to order upon arrival at the restaurant. The Owner Mr. Henderson was extremely personable and greeted all guests. We enjoyed our time there although too short. If you’re looking for affordable prices, a quiet place, superb service then this little Gem is ideal for your stay. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for a phenomenal stay and the outstanding customer service that was provided by all staffs that we encountered during our stay. "

"The view was beautiful volcano views on our patio and at breakfast daily! Our room was decorated for our anniversary on arrival with chocolates and wine. Daily room cleaning and turn down service. Very glad we rented a car because the walk was very long to the amenities since we were in the back of the property. The spa was absolutely amazing and relaxing. The prices for the spa were very reasonable. Breakfast was plenty and lasted us through the day. We got stuff for sandwiches for lunch as they had a fridge in the room which was nice. Did eat at the pool bar one night and was mediocre. The thermal pools were too hot in our opinion. Highly recommend tabacon spa which had over 20 thermal pools with different temperatures they offer day passes. We did enjoy the “cool” pool. Drinks there were a little pricey but very good! The front desk is very helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend this resort! "

"This property is absolutely amazing! Out of the path yet 4 minutes drive from Fortuna (Uber is $3.50). We could have not asked for more. Bungalows are beautiful and clean, very large shower and a small balcony facing tropical lush gardens in the back with birds all around and a small patio with table and chairs in the front. The view of the volcano is spectacular and breakfast in the morning is a delight with views and monkeys sitting on branches. They have a small spa and the yoga class was very good too. If you are looking for a party place, go somewhere else. People at this hotel are having fun but they enjoy the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. We did everything on our own as most attractions are 10 to 15 minutes away: volcano trails, hot springs, Natura Park, Rio Danta for sloth watching (we saw a mom and baby there, for free:) We had such a great week and employees working there are very respectful and attentive. The hotel has a trail (a real trail in the forest) and we spent hours there, saw red pickers, yellow beek small toucan, other birds. We only did the Chocolate Tour with the hotel. Food was also excellent. If you are looking at saving money, you can eat in La Fortuna but if you want a nice service and great food, 1 restaurant and 2 bars on site have plenty of delicious plates. You can sip on great cocktails at the pool bar or order food there as well. Absolutely no regrets on our choice, this was our first time in Costa Rica and it was really Pura Vida!"
