"Onsen was a darling desert oasis in Spa City. From our home base of Onsen, we spent seven days exploring Joshua Tree national park and the state park Indian Canyon. After a long day of hiking, we returned to Onsen to enjoy its large mineral pool and enormous hot tub. (By the way, the mineral water is silky and buoyant. A nice surprise!)
