"We had a great stay at this inn near the ocean in Santa Barbara. Great location, easy walk to beach and piers. Car pull in area made it easy to grab a Uber. Friendly helpful staff helped make our visit feel more personal than at a larger hotel. Special thanks to Lee, who helped us feel welcome. Nice happy hour with drinks, cheese and crackers, and cookies. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety including mini veggie egg soufflés, oatmeal, fruit, muffins/pastry/toast. It was clear that thought was put into all the offerings here, such as having peanut butter, jelly, and cream cheese. Our room felt more like a bedroom in a home or inn, rather than a hotel room. This meant that the style and layout of the room was not just a standard hotel room. It was very clean. I would stay there again next time I visit Santa Barbara."

"It’s hard to write a review saying I will not stay here again because I know some people would really like this place. I’ll start with the positives; the location is great, the parking is easy and free, there are bikes you can use, motel vibes, breakfast was included and ok, all overall fine. I did not like how old the place felt, the carpet in the room, there was a Peloton bike in the tiny storage closet ‘gym’ space, but the Peloton is not connected to an account, so it’s unusable which matters to me and probably not others, no weights, the wine happy hour is box wine and the staff was fine, no warmth but did their job."

"We stayed here on our way from solvang and decided to stay a night in SB. Walking distance to local restaurants , harbour and wharf . We enjoyed the spa and the welcome wine and cheese was a nice touch.. check in was easy, the property was well maintained and the rooms were comfortable . If you are looking for a nice place to stay and not spend too much this was it . "

"CLEANLINESS: Very clean! Noticed a few scuffs on the bathroom wall, and a hair on the bathroom floor. Overall, the room was very clean. ROOM: Very spacious, as we also had two dogs, a playpen, and a crate. There was enough room for my partner and I, that we didn't feel too cramped. The view of the mountain was amazing! Love that we could open the windows and get fresh air. The bathroom and shower were also spacious. I do wish that the water pressure was better, and the option for a hand-held shower was available. While the rain shower head is nice, it makes it difficult if you're trying not to get your hair wet. COMMUNICATION: Since the moment I booked, communication was a breeze. Everything is via text, which is nice. They do have automated texts for check-out, so if you have special accommodations (late check-out), it isn't reflected in that text. But I received prompt responses when I inquired. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Very easy, as a code is sent to you. No staff on site. SECURITY: Several security cameras on site, which was nice since there is no staff on site. PARKING: Parking is limited and underground. The driveway is steep (so lowered cars, do not attempt!). They have more EV parking stalls, which made it difficult to park at times, NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood was quiet, as there are business/offices surrounding Casa Riviera, and some residential. Walkable to shops and some restaurants. It would be about a 20min walk to the Funk Zone. "
