"Overall, a good experience. The rooms were very clean, very well maintained, and had great amenities. The tv had a good number of channels available. Staff were courteous and helpful. My only gripe was they charged me for the rooms before I even set foot on the property to check-in. I get the non refundable after a certain time and date when you choose the pay at property, but I would think they would wait until at least the actual check in time and not the morning of. Just odd business practice. Other than that, solid stay, great place, and would recommend."

"The boxed continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise and was perfect for our needs and tastes. We like the location because we can walk into downtown Pacific Grove for shops and restaurants, not have to drive, and it's enough distance to count as good exercise. The area feels safe and looks attractive and pleasant. Next time, we would pay extra to get a room with a private balcony."

"The website made the room look very nice. However, in reality the room walls were dirty, Bergers on the wall, dead insects, dirt on the bathtub, pee on the bottom side of the toilet, blow dryer did not work, house keeping did not come. I will upload pictures on the actual hotel website to show my experience. I wouldn’t even give this hotel 1 star. "
