"This is a lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and appointed. It has a stunning view, telephone wires apart. It was absolutely spotless when we arrived. We had a couple of niggles but they were addressed satisfactorily by the owners. Take their words about the hill to the apartment very seriously. You need to be fit and able to deal with it."

"Beautiful house and stunning views and location. Would highly recommend to able bodied people. Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. The nearest the car can park to off load was at the end of the terrace so all luggage had to be carried 90+ steps to the property. The car then had...

"Ideal location for my itinerary. Well equipped, cosy and had everything I required. Quiet area, no bright lights and slept well. I travelled solo this time, but ideal for couples. Very close to Cader Idris and Mach Loop, two of my main locations to visit."

"The whole site is very quiet, which I really loved. It feels safe and is perfect for families. The caravan was clean and a good size for a family of four. The extractor fan wasnโt working, but we still managed fine and could get rid of the cooking smells (while cooking) by airing the caravan. My only criticism would be the beach. Itโs not sandy beach or not even pebbles is quite rocky, with some very large rocks. You need to check the tide times if you want to reach and walk on the sand (...

"It is located down a farm track on the farm grounds. Surrounded by fields and views of mountains, itโs just stunning. You have just what you need, a bed, tv, bathroom, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Take your own food and you wonโt have to see a soul. Sadly for us, we had a problem with our vehicle but the lovely owners let us leave it at the farm whilst we got parts for it. The owners are lovely and friendly"

Powis Castle, owned by the National Trust, is located near Welshpool in the heart of the Welsh countryside. It was originally built as a medieval fortress around 1200, but the building as it stands today is a testament to the way in which it has been altered and remodelled from 1600 onwards. The interior is home to thousands of works of art, furnishings and ornaments collected over the course of 400 years.

The Mount Inn

"Great little pub with amazing food, rooms have everything you need and the staff were amazing. Left out glasses behind and they found them and posted them back. Will definitely be back again."
The lion hotel
8/10 Good
"The Lion Inn is an old building so one must make allowances for this which we did. The whole layout of the Inn is somewhat querky with dark coloured decor punctuated with glass wall displays which I assume were the work of Andrew Login, a local sculpture. The rooms were equally decorated in bright colours, each having a unique theme. The bathroom was modern with an excellent shower. All in all, we spent a very comfortable night with a good cooked breakfast in the morning."

Metropole Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"I made a last minute booking whilst on a bike tour through mid Wales. There are no rooms on the ground floor so the staff were really helpful to store my bike in a secure place as my room was on the second floor. The restaurant was closed by the time managed to shower and get myself sorted at 8.50pm, none the less there is a local Turkish place were I managed to have a delicious healthy meal to fuel me the next day. The hot breakfast at the hotel was very good."
Macdonald Plas Talgarth Holiday Resort

"Beautiful location. Wonderful apartment. Very surprised to find such a nice 2 storey apartment with beautiful views from the bedroom and living room balcony. Great location to explore the area."
