A wonderful break

Drover’s Retreat is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The renovated barn is cosy and comfortable and has everything that is needed. Bob and Carolyn are very thoughtful: they have provided plenty of information on the local area, including walks from the cottage as well as an honesty shop with ready meals and some essentials. We did not have long enough in this idyllic spot and hope to be back.

A place to get away from everything.

A wonderful peaceful place. Beautiful, lovingly converted barn. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Great living space, plenty big enough for us and our pups. The games barn is nice but due to spending far too much time walking and being pooped in the evening. Vast swathes of forest accessible right from the doorstep (although remember to get the gate lock code from the house manual). Lovely small fenced area to the rear of the barn where you can sit and eat outdoors with literally just the stream, birds and rustling of the trees for company. A great place to really get away from it all.

If you want tranquility, nature, seclusion and peace - this is the place for you! Everything you need or want is here. Carolyn and Bob are great hosts - there if you need them, but otherwise you would never know they are there, far over the other side of the property. This is a very highly recommended property for a very relaxing break. Thank you!!
