It also has a fabulous little café whereyou can grab a bite while looking over the copper serpent sculpture thatemerges from the lake. Lovely area, but town rather run down and considering this was the Victorian Weekend festival - most shops were closed on the Saturday as was the Cycle museum, and the Spa tea rooms

Went back to revisit area that I went to as a child. The museum was well worth a visit. Walk around the lake was nice, but the cost of hiring a boat was a little expensive. Also, unfortunately, like many other town centres shops have closed.
