"Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. "I booked this hotel for our anniversary. It was close to our restaurant. I was also going to propose. I messaged the hotel in advance and they very kindly upgraded our room. This added to much to our stay. From the moment we arrives, Daniel greeted us with joy. The hotel smelt amazing. They pump this beautiful smell around all communal areas. We had everything we needed in the room and arranged a late checkout. Fortunately, she said yes!!! So it was one of the most perfect evenings made even better by the hotel. Thank you. We will definitely return! "
