"Our room was done very beautifully and artistically and overlooked the Sassi Barisano for a great view. The bathroom is American sized and the room contained a large closet and cute balcony. It sits on a main piazza just a couple minutes to any of the major sites. Mimmo was an excellent host and even if we said the room didn’t need to be cleaned since we were staying only two nights, he had it cleaned anyway. We enjoyed our stay!"

Once you understand the history of the Sassi you will appreciate all the conveniences that have been built into the cave rooms. We arrived at some random bus stop in the bottom of town because their main station is closed for remodeling, so I didn't really know where we were when I called the shuttle. Nino just asked me the name of the street & came to get us. "The staff was wonderful help us arrange a taxi to and from the bus station. Michele was the sweetest and made a wonderful breakfast each morning. The hotel is in a great part of town and close to many cafes and restaurants. Only wish the suite offered a shower and the ac was a little better but we really enjoyed our stay."
