"Really fantastic stay at The Knaresborough Inn. Leave your car parked up for the time you stay there if only staying a couple of days — everything in town is walkable, and there are brilliant public transport options to get you through to Harrogate. Very comfortable room, and a really great on-site pub & restaurant. Brekkie in the morning was really good; food options in the evening also plentiful, although more choice for vegetarians would be welcomed. Dog friendly!! — although, on this, it was an extra charge of £15/night and after the first night my room was not cleaned, only the tea/coffee replenished and the duvet/pillows straightened. I mentioned this to one of the inn/bar staff who simply shrugged their shoulders and said that was the charge. Fair enough; but if the charge is for the additional cleaning of the room for having my dog there, then I do expect the room to be cleaned. Aside from this, I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return."

"Nice hotel with smart communal areas and bar. Staff really professional but also friendly. Room great with roll top bath and view of The Stray. Comfortable bed and great breakfast in restaurant. The only negative comment would be about the poor lightingbin the bedroom which could have been better."
