"Amazing view of city "

"Good price point and free breakfast. The hotel.was renovated around 2014 and its starting to show some wear and tear. The tub was chipped and stained and the bathroom fan didn't work. In some rooms the deck was being fixed so it was off limits. The staff is great and accommodating and we like the location close to the zoo and diamond head. I find the waikiki hotels are old in general so try and find one more recently renovated is the trick."

"The price was good for the area. The pancake breakfast and coffee was great. The staff were great. The location is close to lots of things to do. In the evenings the staff but a fun event for everyone to join and meet. The mattress was comfortable. But the bed frames were squeaky as well as the main door to the dorm and no lockers large enough for luggage. But overall a good place to visit Waikiki on a budget."

"this hotel is right across the road from the beach, one block from the zoo and has a stop for the pink trolley line right at your doorstep. there are either beach front or diamond head views from each room and a walk in pool on site. you also have free access to beach equipment which can be collected downstairs on the way to the beach. The downsides include a lack of staff at reception which means an extended wait for service, dated bathrooms wuth short shower heads and soft old beds. we had a room which had three double beds so great for families. Also found out there is a breakfast are and cafe on level 21."
