Great location and property had been upgraded since our last visit to the area, only complaint was too many poorly supervised kids screaming and splashing in the pool and hotel staff did nothing about it when notified.

What a welcome surprise, hip. Modern. Hawaii vibe. Decor homage to old island living. Appreciate the size, amenities, and decor of the room. The views are amazing, lots to do within the hotel. Excellent, attentive service staff. I'll be back! Mahalo nui loa!

This hotel feels like it had a facelift but you can still feel the age of it, with the exception of the pool deck. The view from pool of an unimpeded view of Diamond Head, that really you can’t get anywhere else. But that is unfortunately the highlight of the hotel. The rooms are just ok. The A/C in room was right next to the bed and kept switching on/off all night so not great for sleep. The bathroom was a step above grimy, so also had seen better days. Location was great for being at the Diamond Head side of Waikiki with quick walk to the less crowded beach areas and great access to the Zoo and Barefoot Beach Cafe at Queen’s Surf Beach.
